Last month, Satpal Singh hosted a live gathering with the sangat in Langley, Berkshire. It had been over two years since the last UK event, and people travelled from across the UK and other parts of the world to spend the day together in reflection, meditation, and discussion.

Throughout the day, Satpal spoke about understanding the mind, suffering, Hukam, and applying spiritual wisdom in daily life. He also presented a talk on understanding and coping with evil in the world through the wisdom of Gurbani.

There were also open Q&A sessions where people shared honest questions about life, anxiety, relationships, assisted dying, childhood trauma, and finding peace within themselves.

The gathering also gave people the opportunity to connect with local volunteers and others who have been inspired by Nanak Naam’s educational resources to start local wisdom groups within their communities. Satpal also had the chance to meet long-standing supporters and donors in person and share the vision for future projects.

Many who attended later spoke about the sense of peace and connection they felt from simply sitting together in sangat again after so long.
